Situated in Kent, The Mad Stan Brewery is an small independant micro brewery brewing small batch real ales with the occasional German lager

We only use water, malt, hops and yeast in our base beers which are unfined and may contain a little haze
About the Brewery

The brewery is named after my old dog Stan who we got as a puppy. He was a Ridgeback, Lurcher cross RSPCA rescue dog and was known locally as Mad Stan for his enthusiastic approach to guarding everything that moved.
The Mad Stan Brewery is a vegan brewery - not because we don't like meat or fish but just because we like our beer to be made of just malted barley, hops, water and yeast.
Our beer is naturally fined so it does take time to settle and some beers have a slight haze which is actually flavour not filtered out, but generally if you wait long enough it will clear naturally.
We only use the highest quality Warminster floor malted barley as our base malt and Wayermann's for our Lagers
One of the things we try to follow is the seasons with our brews, coming into autumn we are brewing our stout and are planning our Xmas beer which this year could be a Belgium Tripal.
